About Station N0AKA
My name is Tom from Plattsmouth, Nebraska and my main interests are digital amateur radio modes via PC (psk, sstv, etc) along with EchoLink and APRS. I normally operate digital modes on 145.550 simplex and run an EchoLink node on 147.470 simplex (currently set up as an RX/TX APRS internet gateway). If you are interested in any digital mode, send me an email.
My home QTH is using the following:
- Icom IC-208H Dual Band Radio
- Arrow OSJ 146/440 Antenna
- RIGblaster Nomic Interface
- Modified PC Power Supply
I also have a Kenwood TM-D710 (w/GPS-710), Yaesu FT-7800R, Icom PCR-1000, Kenwood TH-F6A, Icom IC-W2a and Icom IC-W21AT.
Currently my Arrow OSJ 146/440 antenna sits about 20 feet above ground level (altitude is about 1,000 feet)
